Overview
The minor program, (ages 7-17 ) is designed to assist families, caregivers, legal guardians with assistance with their loved one who Is currently presenting a dysfunction in his/her customary settings e.g. Home, school, recreational activities, work, just to name a few. In addition, the minor is displaying inappropriate behaviors, that indicates the youth is at possible risk to self, peer relationships and family members are at risk.
Our approach is to provide the youth and their families with structured individual and group counseling sessions aimed to help manage their current dysfunction or challenges the youth is experiencing. We particular focus on, anger management, Individualized education program (IEP) support, coping skills & age-appropriate life skills development.
